Campus

Located in the heart of Las Vegas, World Market Center Las Vegas is a five million square-foot showroom, marketplace and event destination. The campus is designed by The Jerde Partnership International, a leader in developing concepts and methodologies to design more humanistic, multi-use spaces.

The result is a world-class campus that reflects a contemporary, yet timeless design. The campus blends the indigenous Las Vegas landscape with futuristic elements through the use of a terra-cotta color palette and metallic glass panels that reflect the changing colors of the desert, sun and sky. Contextually-specific elements are located throughout the campus, including water features, interior and exterior landscaping, and a central atrium which provides for communal interaction among visitors.

Embedded into the exterior face of the building is a semi-circular form – a universally recognizable icon that identifies the complex as a global container and showcase for the industry’s products. Additional amenities such as sky bridges to connect each building, Wi-Fi throughout and ample visitor parking work to create the most convenient and efficient place to do business within the industry.

Plans to construct this architectural wonder began in 2001, and Building A opened in July 2005 with 1.3 million square feet. Guests enter through the Fountain Foyer, a lavish, artistic space boasting copper walls and cascading waterfalls. Building B opened in January 2007 at 1.6 million square feet and includes the Grand Atrium, OneSix Club, World Forum, WorldView and SkyView Terrace. Building C opened in July 2008, and brought hundreds of additional resources to the campus. In all, more than 400 showrooms and temporary exhibit space comprise Building C and its square footage alone is greater than that of the Empire State Building.

Situated on 57 contiguous acres, World Market Center is one of the nation’s premier mixed-use urban centers, where members of the home furnishings industry have access to shop some of the world’s most innovative products and have access to cutting-edge resources and trends.
