Babs Blair, Executive Director of Home Furnishings - Leasing

Babs Blair is one of the most widely recognized veterans in leasing showrooms and buildings in the home furnishings industry. That high level of attention to servicing tenant needs has earned her respect across-the-board from all players in the furniture, accessory and trade show development arena. As Executive Director of Home Furnishings Leasing for World Market Center Las Vegas, Blair has worked tirelessly overseeing business development for WMC from the inception, personally involved with the leasing of 5 million square feet of space.

Blair has the unique distinction of having been involved with the launch and leasing of showroom facilities in all four major U.S. home furnishings markets, and this insight has enabled her to capture and optimize the value proposition for manufacturers at World Market Center. Prior to joining World Market Center Las Vegas, Blair held a number of high-profile roles in the industry. She was General Manager and Leasing Director for the Tupelo Furniture Market from its inception. She also served as co-leasing director for the Dallas Furniture Market, as well as Leasing Director for the home accent floors at the Dallas World Trade Center.

Immediately prior to joining World Market Center, Babs was the Director of Leasing for the Showplace building in High Point, North Carolina. Blair currently serves as the West Coast Chairperson for the Home Furnishings Industry charity, City of Hope. She also has been affiliated with the Home Furnishings International Association (HFIA).
