Dana Andrew, Vice President - Marketing and Public Relations

Dana Andrew has led the marketing communications efforts for World Market Center since the project’s early conception in 1999. A key player behind the creation of one of the most successful trade show launches in history, Andrew has been entrusted with the responsibility of building a brand unlike anything the trade show or home furnishings industries have seen.

Her leadership role includes setting strategy and oversight of worldwide marketing, advertising and public relations programs for World Market Center’s family of shows, including the semi-annual Las Vegas Market; the newly-launched Gift+Home, and Vegas Kids shows; as well as the year-round Las Vegas Design Center. With a best in class marketing team and infrastructure, Andrew also oversees the retail relations, programming, media and sponsorship divisions at World Market Center.

In 2009, Andrew was tapped to manage an historic effort on behalf of the home furnishings industry—uniting retailers with a first-ever, national multi-channel consumer marketing initiative. The inaugural Is it Home Yet? and National Home Furnishings Month  campaign was endorsed by 8 leading industry associations and developed by Ogilvy North America. Andrew draws on 15 years of best practices from other industries to infuse fresh perspective into the world of home furnishings. A sought after marketing and PR practitioner, Andrew has represented brand leaders in hospitality, business, government, education and the arts.

Prior to joining World Market Center, Andrew was Director of Brown & Partners (later bought by national agency R&R Partners), where she was responsible for executing some of state’s most high profile PR battles including the U.S. Senate fight against the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository, as well as championed a number of legislative issues from the medical malpractice crisis to construction liability reform.

Andrew has been recognized with many industry awards for her campaigns and for her leadership, most recently named Las Vegas’ Top 40 Under 40. A graduate of the University of Arizona, she is a member of WithIt and volunteers her time with several charitable organizations.
