Katherine Venezia, Vice President - Finance

Katherine Venezia started 13 years ago at Related Companies, and transferred to World Market Center in 2004 at the inception of construction.

At Related Companies, Venezia was manager of the Corporate Accounting Department and controller of the New York Development division. Venezia honed her accounting skills during four years prior to joining Related in the public accounting arena and became a licensed certified public accountant. At World Market Center, she supervised the construction job cost accounting for the project’s current 3 Building Phases encompassing over 5.1 million square feet.

Katherine oversees the entire budgeting process for the project’s complex and diverse departments.  Additionally, she ensures that the day-to-day finance matters run efficiently, working closely with her team to stay in touch with the 1,500 tenants and licensees of World Market Center throughout the year to maximize collections. Venezia has worked closely with the project lenders on all aspects of financing. Venezia developed her business and finance acumen at Saint Johns University in New York where she graduated with bachelor’s degree in business administration.
